St. Mark Preschool
Mission and Purpose
The St. Mark Preschool is a ministry of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Its mission is the same as that of the church: to Worship, Love, Reach, Teach, and Serve for the Glory of God. Those connected with the Preschool strive to Worship Jesus by showing His love to all children, to Reach children and their families, Teach them about Jesus and His love, and Serve them and Him by loving and caring for children. The Preschool classes are led by individuals who share our common mission. Classes emphasize God’s Word, and the precepts of the Christian life, along with teaching that encourages and challenges each child at their level of understanding.
Our Commitment
We commit to treat your child as though he/she is our own. It is very important to all of us that your child is happy in our care, and that you have confidence in us as his/her caretakers. We will treat your child with Christ-centered love, respect, and fairness. We do not take lightly this awesome responsibility. In addition to their health and overall safety, we will help them develop spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Days and Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
Our program year follows the Muscogee County School District calendar for all dates, including holidays, planning days, bad weather days, and the school year ending date. Students may not be left at the preschool before 8:55 AM or remain after 12:35 PM.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to develop each child’s social, self-help and school readiness skills. We emphasize the principles of Christian living in all areas by using the Pinnacle Faith Based cirriculum.
Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes are offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-1:30 pm. These are special, more intensive studies of art, science/computers and exercise. There is an extra $25/month fee for the classes. To enroll in Enrichment, simply state your desire at the time of enrollment and choose one, two or all three of the classes for the semester.
Spectacular Summer
Our Spectacular Summer program is a continuation of the preschool year through the summer. It runs for 8 weeks and takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Ones

Two’s
3 days/week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Three's
3 days/week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
(3-year olds must be out of diapers before school starts)
Two/Three years
5 days/week Use a 3-day class, then add Mon, Fri
Tuition and Fees
Registration fee: $60 per child, non-refundable. Registration fee is due each year upon enrolling your child in the preschool program for the coming year. Monthly tuition is due on the 1st school day of each month, August through May. A late fee will be added if tuition is paid after the 10th school day of the month. Should you choose to remove your child from the preschool sometime during the year, please give one month’s advance notice.
5 days - $200/month (Monday – Friday)
3 days - $155/month (Tuesday – Thursday)
2 days - $120/month (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday – choose two) – Ones & Under
1 day - $75/month (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday – choose one) – Ones & Under
To complete the registration process, just fill out the registration form and pay the fee to the preschool director. This reserves your enrollment for August. Updated immunization forms should be submitted by the end of the first week of the school year.
