Worship Through Music
St Mark has a long standing history of contemporary blended worship music. For more than two decades, worship at St. Mark has included a blend of choruses, praise songs, and grand old hymns of the faith. Today, our dynamic choir and orchestra including organ, piano, drums, guitars, brass, woodwind instruments and strings lead the praise and worship with fervor as we "Sing lustily and with a good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead, or half asleep; but lift up your voice with strength. Be no more afraid of your voice now, nor more ashamed of its being heard, than when you sung the songs of Satan." (John Wesley, Select Hymns, 1761)
At St. Mark, there are many opportunities to serve the Lord through music. We have a dedicated and hard working group who set a positive example by giving of their best in service to the Lord. Our goal is to seek to bring out the best in others so that God may be glorified in worship.
