Leadership Committees
The committees listed below are the groups that run much of the administrative functions of the church. Participation in these groups is limited to church members. The make-up of the committees is determined each fall by the Committee on Lay Leadership.
Church Council
Chairperson: Rick Ussery
Coordinates and approves church-wide initiatives.
Staff-Parish Relations Committee
Chairperson: Lynn Hodges
This is the Human Relations group of the church, overseeing all church staff and working with the South Georgia Conference on the appointment of Senior and Associate Pastors.
Trustees
Chairperson: Fred Jones
Members of this committee take care of all church property including the Parsonage.
Finance Committee
Chairperson: Leanne Kennedy
This group oversees the financial situation of the church. Approval of the church budget each year is a large part of this committee's mission.
Long Range Planning Committee
Chairperson: Marcy Rodriguez
The future plans of the church both physical and missional are the responsibility of this committee.
Policy Committee
Chairperson: Bill Abrahamson
This committee is responsible for overseeing, reviewing and implementing the policies of the church.
