Want To Volunteer?

If you have ever thought of helping the Music Ministry, Youth Ministry or Children’s Ministry, ask about it! There are always opportunities to serve. See Ken, Shannon or Melanie for details.

Activity Center Volunteers Needed!

Due to changes in schedules, the volunteer time slot on Thursday afternoons has come open. The ministry of volunteering at the Activity Center is vital to its use by members and visitors from the community. Without volunteers, we would not be able to serve as we have grown accustomed to. Please consider helping out in this manner. The times available are from 1:30 pm till 6:00 pm. These times can be split up if you cannot help the entire time. Ladies are also welcome if interested. Please contact Shannon Baxter for more info.

Ronald McDonald House Seeks Volunteers

Would you like to help us make a difference in the lives of families who stay with us? We need people like you to donate time, energy, and experience in a variety of areas. Volunteer opportunities include fulfilling a three hour “shift” at the Ronald McDonald House, preparing home cooked meals for our families or a variety of other opportunities to choose from. Our volunteers say they feel rewarded many times over for the help they provide and the difference they make in the lives of others. Please visit their web- site at www.rmhcwga.org for a complete listing of volunteer opportunities or call the House and ask to have a volunteer package mailed to you. Together, we will be able to help many families through what is often the most difficult time in their lives.

Our House Needs Quilts.

Our House is in great need of quilters who would like to donate a quilt for a child. The children and youth in our care will now be staying on a long term basis. Our wish is that each child will be able to choose from a selection of quilts on the day they arrive. A quilt would give them something of their own to treasure always. This extraordinary gift will provide them with the feeling of love, warmth, and security. Quilts and children are both unique and special - quilts are handmade with love and children are made with love by God. If you are interested in donating a quilt to Our House, please contact Ginny Shelly at 706-507-1000 or by e-mail, ginnyshelley@ourhousecolumbus.org . Thank you for all you do in “making a difference in the life of a child.”
