Biography of Teresa Pinkney
 
 
I thank God for using me as a part of St. Mark United Methodist Church ministry. It is truly a blessing for me.  I give God all the glory for what He has done and will do in this particular ministry of St. Mark.
 
I was born in Lagrange, Georgia.  My family later moved to my present hometown of West Point, Georgia.  I graduated from West Point High School.  I attended Southern Union Community College in Valley, Alabama before graduating from Fort Valley State University with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration.  I have been involved in early childhood education for over 16 years.  I have served in several capacities in many community activities, including the Troup County Foster Parent Association, the Women Minister Alliance, and the Troup County School System Surrogate Parent Program.
 
I have also accepted God’s call on my life to preach the Word of God.  I am a licensed and ordained minister serving as the Assistant Pastor of the Greater New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in West Point.
 
I have one daughter, Nyshunda, who attends the Troup County School System.  My hobbies are reading, interior decorating, travel, and shopping at flea markets.
